"Just be yourself !"

"The hours in pre-owned no set schedule"

"When things get tough , not to micro-manage because we are all professionals or we wouldn't have been hired here."

"Good group of people to work around."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you ever give notice at any car dealership, make sure you print out all of your deals and give them a copy and make sure they know you expect to be paid on all your deals or you will go to the Utah consumer protection agency. I failed to do that just like other business managers that I know, and we were all shorted on our checks with no ability to prove it."

What don't you like about working at Cadillac?

"Hours were very tough, was shorted several thousand dollars when I left from my final 2 checks."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They do a good job. It would be hard to make an easier schedule in the car business, but an effort should be made to pay people what they are owed when they leave."

"The opportunity to turn the accounting department around into making accurate statements and help my employer to make better finanical decisions."

"If you are just looking for a job, then this is a good place to work. If your more interested in helping the company grow and know that you the owner is not concerned if the company makes or loses money then this is not the right place for you."

What don't you like about working at Cadillac?

"The owner was more interested in other ventures and was not as concerned about the dealership and the problems that he would have to deal with."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more aware of the circumstances that was driving the company into failure."

"Goodplace to work, however, not enough family time allocatedfor maximum productivity."

"The management team and sales staff are great. Number 1 in customer satisfaction for GM and a top dealership in the region."

"Be yourself, honest, a team player and have enough aggressiveness to succeed."

What don't you like about working at Cadillac?

"The hours of schedule and not 2 consecutive days off, i.e. weekends."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Work on schedule and provide sales staff with access to computers in their offices, bring in their own or provide inexpensive units."

"The biggest reason I worked here was because of friends. I also knew I had a job right away. I worked here for two years when I first got into the car business. Things were much better in 2003, than what they are now."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don' work at any Van Tuyl store because they are the same. You are literally better off working for Mcdonalds and I have been in the car business for over 5 years."

What don't you like about working at Cadillac?

"Management acted like children. The hours are horrible. Get use to working 240 hours a month! The car market is at its worst right now. Managers would scream and cuss all day long. Do not get use to having a certain day off ever. On some of your days off you dont really have them off. I am surprised that the labor board has not shown up at this place yet. This by far is the worst place I have ever worked at in my life and would not tell anyone to ever work here."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Grow up. I love you guys but only outside of work. Treating people like garbage is not the way to go. Get out of the business because eventually the way you act at work is the way your going to act at home and your wifes are going to leave you. Treat people like human beings. People can only be pushed so far. Give people better hours. If workers are not happy they will not produce. You guys have cut the fun or enjoyment out of work completely."

"Driving new cars every day running herons and loads of famous people"

"must be willing to work 60+ hours, 6 days a week and be self motivated"

"I have turned down a manager position because it would require a significant pay cut, and work even more hours"
