What do you like about working at Byte Back?
"I was the owner. This gave me a lot of opportunities to build strong client relationships, keep quality and productivity high, and have flexibility in the type and duration of the projects I undertook."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"N/A. I closed this business in 2001, with the exception of some part time consulting."
What don't you like about working at Byte Back?
"Being self-employed requires a LOT of self-discipline in financial management. This was not necessarily bad, but it meant that time needed to be dedicated to marketing, sales, overhead, and financial planning. I would have rather spent that time working with my clients directly."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Spend more time on business planning, CBA's, and marketing. Running your own business is very rewarding, but also time consuming."
