"I was encouraged to work with users and ensure they're able to use all technologies efficiently. It was a financial non profit and budget for IT was always tight. It was a challenge and frustrating at times, but it was very rewarding"

"I didnt enjoy having to justify almost every single project or IT need, I felt I was always being interrogated."

"They ran the business very well, the only suggestion I would have would be to try and understand the technological need and not just the numbers of a project or need."

"Care more about the employees rather than the botom line. Help clients rather than find ways to generate more revenue out of them."

"Stay away from this company as it offers no hope of satisfying employment."

"Company CEO style, personality, vision, management skills and lack of sensitivity"

"Complete change of management staff including termination of company CEOand Western Region President."

"The commute was okay, that was the only good thing."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to drop all prior engagements (even if it's your wedding) to work for these ladies, when they say, where they say, and however they say. If the pay was up to their demands, I wouldn't mind but for the amount they offer, you wouldn't be able to afford your gas driving there."

What don't you like about working at By Design Solutions?

"Very anal, micro-managed tasks, wanted the world but didn't want to pay for it. They were very insensitive to employees personal life and expected us to drop everything because upper management didn't want to take on additional duties."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more sensitive to your staff - there's no way someone can take a vacation working for you, even if they earned it."
