"Good company for people looking for structure. The structure may be a bit much for experienced people."

"The LA office has a high turn over rate. The president I worked for was dismissed last year. The senior management located in San Francisco are all good, talented leaders, which I have worked with before at other companies. The issues with the LA office is being resolved, and should be expected to be good once transition is complete."

"My summer internship with Build Group Inc was a great experience where I engaged in both site and office works, built a strong relationship with my team which was helpful. Project Engineers, Managers and Superintendents at the Jobsite and/or the office were nice and welcoming people."

Build Group Anonymous Employee

"Built on a culture that is consistently preached to all employees. The executives of Buildgroup do not follow (practice) what the preach. The talk about everyone helping everyone to grow. And investing in their employees. How ever, without bring areas of improvement to employees and doing what they can to help improve employees. They just lay you off or get rid of you. The sense of family and value of employees that is so important to buildgroup. Is non existent. This is all led by the executives who do not follow through with their own mission. Everyone is expendable. The simplest way to put it is. If you are not part of the fraternity or best friends with the executives. They don’t care about you at all."

"I learned a lot working with Build Group. However, I didn't feel an ethical and friendly working environment. There is racism, harassment, sexual harassment. They make you work overtime with no payment (event Saturdays and Sundays), at the end your effort is not recognized directly from you but from others and the way most of the high positions people is just to blame people instead of looking for a solution."
