"I worked for ExxonMobil from 1976 to 2015. Served as Project Consultant and managed multiple projects. Involved in multiple incident investigations and hazard analysis. After retirement in 2015, I was contacted by Jacobs Engineering and then I transferred to Brunel Energy till we were laid off due to Exxon canceling all of their projects."

"I worked for BEI Engineering as a contractor for Shell construction management of several projects ensuring safety, quality and production while overseeing several contractors. The relationship between both companies was built up and became a great place to work gaining the clients confidence of carrying out their policies and procedures for the safety and production that they strive to achieve and maintain."

"Pros: Brunel Energy is pretty hands-off once you are placed with a company, which allows you to focus on the work. With the little interaction that is provided, it is very personable and pleasant. Placement at the top companies is provided and awesome! Cons: Payroll is not familiar with GAAP and requires additional training. They need to review their policies and procedures to make sure they can be understood. You will earn no personal time so if you don't work you don't get paid. When your contract ends they do not attempt to place you elsewhere and sever employment completely. Without their contractors, they would not be paid or have vacations for themselves."

"I've worked for Brunel Energy for almost a year now. The people are great. The parent company out of Amsterdam is wonderful and there is much opportunity to learn and grow there. The challenge comes in the fact that, in my position, there is no work-life balance, many communication issues, and not enough resources or support to fully perform the tasks at hand."
