"I have great pride to say that I've worked with a multicultural company like Broadcom Corporation, who is a global leader and innovator in semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications."
"I have been working at Broadcom as a intern for almost six months. I find it to have a really nice work atmosphere and challenging work."
"The job was fun for the first 2 months and there was a big learning curve initially. But the work become repetitive over a period of time and the management wasn't very keen about meeting interns' expectations. Training was given occasionally, but wasn't well structured and organized. The LTE division that I worked for was on a downward slope and was closed down a few months after I completed my internship."
"Good working experience in the organisation."
"Broadcom may be a good place to work if you are an engineer, but not for g&a positions."
"Broadcom is a wonderful and fun place to work. Compensation and benefits are very good. Very flexible work schedule to help balance work and family life. Many opportunities for career development and education."
"It is a good company to work for with a slightly above average work-life balance. The employees were given the freedom to make decisions and encouraged to find optimizations. The company did not have a good strategy to compete in the cellular base band space, could not come up with the right roadmap and ended up making erratic decisions. The executive management did not have the vision which resulted in instability for the BU and thus changing of the guards way too often."
"Good payment with ESPP and RSU. Talented people to work with."
"Very friendly group. Good living environment."
"I have worked as an intern. It was great industry experience. I would recommend others to join to gain knowledge of industry experience in semiconductor domain."
"Now I am working as a senior manager of Bluetooth/WLAN software development team in Broadcom Korea. When I joined Broadcom, we had only 2 engineers but now it has grown to 32 staff, consisting of 22 local engineers and 10 contractors as the business grows. My main job is to provide technical support to Korea tier 1 mobile customers like Samsung/ LGE and coordinate marketing, sales and engineering/development team in US, France and Taiwan."
"GDR is a strong and positive company. Broadcom is struggling "wanna be" company that thinks they are "awesome" but are not! Broadcom is equivalent to McDonald's or Burger King while their direct competition, Qualcomm is more like Morton's Steak house or Ruth Chris steak house."
"I worked for Broadcom for 12 years and held positions in the business unit and sales. It is definitely the best environment for work and I can't say I would ever go back there. The stock has always remained stagnant for the period I was there and management is not helping getting it up. Pass if you can."
"Broadcom is a good company to join."
