"In December 2014, I was recruited to work with the Brightwater Medical team to develop a company with the goal to be acquired. Through the process of design and development, we attained 510K approval from the FDA for the ConvertX Ureteral Stent System. As part of the start-up, I had numerous responsibilities including site location (Murrieta, Temecula, CA); hiring/staffing all levels of the organization; setting up/releasing the Quality system; identifying and overseeing the installation of a Class 8 CER; purchasing, installing and qualifying all equipment; training; starting up production and meeting marketing demands. Successful conclusion was realized with acquisition by Merit Medical leading to the closure of BrightWater on 03/30/2020."
