"Amazing company with a great senior suite with quality workers. The issue is that they don't have enough funds to keep the other departments afloat, so we had to downsize significantly over the course of the last two years. They're very family oriented and great with WFH."

"It's a great company with great people, but the work environment isn't exactly the most encouraging in the world. I was hired with the understanding that I would be learning what I needed to know as I went, but every time I stop to ask questions, I'm either met with insulting sarcasm or just a lack of answers. The workflow is highly inconsistent, and half the time I have nothing to do, yet I'm still expected to work 9-10 hour days."

What do you like about working at Bridgeline Digital?

"Good product, and very knowledgeable people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would recommend having or asking for a one on one with the CEO himself and simply trust your gut feeling from that meeting. You need to ask yourself if you can continuously work 50-60 plus hour work weeks, nights, weekends, and with the utmost scrutiny. You will be compensated very well for your efforts, but you will most definitely work for it."

What don't you like about working at Bridgeline Digital?

"Management, specifically the CEO.....everything is driven by him. The micromanagement is unbearable, and unfortunately everything rolls down hill to other management. Very abrasive, disruptive, and condescending atmosphere, again driven down by the CEO. I feel the company could be much more successful if being driven by someone else."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I really can't suggest anything, b/c someone cannot change their personality. I would recommend that the Board of Directors look for someone who is open to instituting a more collaborative and team oriented environment, so that morale could improve, and hopefully the company can have some actual organic growth."

What do you like about working at Bridgeline Digital?

"Good product, very intelligent people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you request to meet the CEO, and spend some time in person with him. After that, trust your gut instincts. You need to ask yourself if you're willing to continuously work 50-60 plus hours per week, weekends, nights etc, to be successful. You will be compensated well, but you will most certainly work for it."

What don't you like about working at Bridgeline Digital?

"The CEO and micromanagement. Also the culture is very formal and cold. Most people seem generally unhappy. There is a huge, undiscussed work/life balance issue that they will not address."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management is all driven by the CEO, who is the main problem. Unfortunately, not much can be done to change the person that he is. This company could be much more successful if it wasn't for the large amount of turnover caused mainly by the CEO's abrasive and abusive personality."
