"Brickman is a large company, with a lot of locations across the United States. In many positions, there are a lot of opportunities to advance, but they will come with their price. Additionally, over 80% of their employees do not have access to healthcare benefits, making it difficult if one has the typical expectations of a career. The Brickman Foundation is, however, one of the more endearing details of the company, as a fund is set aside to assist employees with life crises."
What do you like about working at Brickman Group?
"Most of the people you work with are great. The horticulturalist and designers were very knowledgeable and professional. Brickman also has a good resource and support system, people have good understanding of the green industry."
What don't you like about working at Brickman Group?
"Be careful of the guys that want to climb the later they are unprofessional in the way they handle there employees. What have you done for me lately are the words that come into my mind. Brickman is a good company if you want to work there for ten years after that watch your back."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Yeah get out of behind your desk, open your eyes, albeit the company's grip on the landscaping industry will soon come to an end. The quality of the work is sub par and the clients and competition are well aware. Stop being the 800 pound gorilla and go back to what you used to do the best... Quality work for your boss... The Client"
