"I worked at Advent Software from 2005-2009 as the CIO and business transformational leader, tasked with changing our business model from selling on-premise software to SAAS. During that time, we implemented Ultimate Software, Salesforce.com, and ERP, Quote to Cash in the Cloud, and changed all our business processes. All programs were collaborative and needed to have the buy-in of all executives and functional leadership. While this created overhead in how to spend the company budget, we always looked at the overall value of every project, why it was important and when it needed to be done. The company had an exceptional culture with strong leadership and a mentality of "doing right" by our employees and customers before the term customer success became mainstream."
