Working at Bowstring Studios in Conshohocken, PA: 1 Employee Reviews

Bowstring Studios Employee

"Pros: Amazingly talented and passionate co-workers! Mostly current with latest production gear and technology. A select few high-end and enticing projects/clients. Business travel opportunity. Retirement options. Cons: No professional training, and little opportunity for growth and advancement. Terrible communication skills throughout. Unethical company practices. Benefits package is subpar. Paid time off is generally looked down upon, and if you don't use it, you loose it. No compensation for any overtime worked. No direct deposit options. Little to no expectation to receive company bonuses. Does not have a human resources department in place. Unprofessional employee/employer relations. Unorganized project management and poor leadership. Managing partners are never in sync. Out of date computers and operating systems. Uncreative working environment. Pre-production is mostly an afterthought. No contract or company agreements. Overall: What you have to gain is very minimal. This company is only good to help jump start your career. It's not a long term option. What this company needs most is human resource development. Changing the direction to be more focused on the employee experience and their growth, and in doing so, would be beneficial to the culture and creative environment of the company."
