"As the Board of Directors had their own Dealerships to run on a daily basis, they were not involved in the day to day business of the Dealer Association. As long as the job was done, they were happy. Most did not understand how many hours it took to maintain the office because I was salary. As an organized professional, I made it work because I felt I was making a difference. I hated that I had 16 Board of Directors who could not agree on how to handle some business or wanted special treatment."
"What I like about being a bookkeeper is being the person with your hands on the business. You get to see the inner workings of the entire business. What I don't like about being a bookkeeper is that it can be dull sometimes. I prefer a bit of a challenge and I don't always get that as a bookkeeper."
"Love the job. Have done it for years at many firms, but NONE like this. You have to come and work here to believe it. I never really got to meet the owner but if this guy does not open his eyes soon, those two woman mentioned above are going to ruin him."

"I love my work, I get pleasure working with numbers. I enjoy it a lot. I love sorting out the papers in order before I actually start. I first start recording the invoices that were paid to us. Than I move on to the Invoices sent from the vendors. I record the ones that were already paid by making general journal entries, than I move on to the invoices which are suppose to be paid later."
"I love to work with numbers and I also like to feel I have completed a task. When I start the bookkeeping cycle until the end I see how to streamline my time, and it has helped me by very detail oriented."

"The company is no longer in business. They filed for bankruptcy."

"The two owners of the company would have arguments on a daily basis and bring others into it."

"Do not bring your personal issues into the workplace environment."

"I am a bookkeeper in my company but I am not only working in this field but also I have been involving different tasks on my jobs and I learn a lot from it."

"For my position, you need to know some accounting principle. Also you are willing to learn and work hard."
What don't you like about working at Unique Medical Equipment and Supplies?
"The only thing that I don't like is the compensation."

"The main income from the company is the insurance customers. It needs expand the sale on cash customers. To do that, they need more advertisement on local new paper and the internet."

"Best is that for diffrentientiating Organisation is our customer service level. Delivering effectively and time bound is key of our organisation success.."

"I do not like working for people who think they know everything and actually it it not the truth."

"If its all about making money don't apply. But if you want to make a difference not just for others but within yourself, here is where to be."

"I felt that at times I was not doing enough. Being non-profit and economic times, there were not always the resources to do more."

"I believe we need to get further input from the community to see what is needed and who will be willing to be part of the effort to improve the assistance we can give."

"The nature of the work and the people I work with are what keep me working at my current job. Bookkeeping/Accounting work is what I really enjoy doing. I love working with numbers, organizing and problem solving. In addition, I have a great working relationship with everyone at the organization."

"Be honest. Don't sell yourself short, but do not overstate your qualifications."
What don't you like about working at Congregation Beth Sholom?
"The only thing I don't like is that they cannot provide enough hours for me. I was working full-time, and they have since downsized this position to part-time. I simply need more hours."

"I don't have any suggestions for management. They seem to communicate effectively, which I find to be one of the most important functions of management."
