"The manager will seem to be caring and willing to help build your situation during your interview, but he is just trying to sell you on an idea. The job is a 100% commission door-to-door sales position, which is hard enough, but not impossible. If you can relate with people, you will do just fine in closing the sale. The problem is not the sales, but the manager taking sales away from reps and pocketing bonuses that belongs to the reps. He will manipulate you anytime he feels he can and thinks that people won't notice. He's taking $100-$300 out of reps checks and told them that the customer cancelled their installation as the reason why they didn't get paid. It's sad that is a business owner, he would have that type on mind set... losing peoples' trust is the first way to lose your business."
