Project Engineering Manager

"Pay well, have fun."

Director of Advertising Sales

"Unstable ownership and questionable decisions make for a difficult work environment"

What do you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"The facilities were excellent and the employees are great. Most of the individuals within the company are of the work hard, play hard mindset and will do whatever they can to get the job done."

What don't you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"The two owners of the company hail from very questionable business backgrounds and have difficulty creating long term strategies or following through on anything. They tend to make knee jerk decisions that typically lead to constant uncertainty, as well as a state of unease, throughout the organization. As a result, the company is losing significant amounts of money right now and will have a difficult time retaining its current staff."

Team Leader

"Fun atmosphere, good perks, high turnover."

Equipment Services Project Manager

"Bloosky was a ggreat place to learn and experience and then move on."

What do you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"The opportunity to work with fun and competitive individuals who take work seriously but understand the importance of the work-life balance. I also enjoyed the freedom and accountability I had to manage my own department/projects/tasks. Bloosky also opportunities to take an assignment and run with it which provided great opportunities to learn and grow."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would tell others that the company is great to work for if you are fine working in an ever-changing environment that may move out from under you with no warning."

What don't you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"In one moment upper level management would trust you with an opportunity and the next moment they would pull out and change their minds. This made work situations difficult when you didn't know when any of your work projects would be taken and you'd be given something else to do. This situation created a lot of inefficiencies that extended projects far longer than they should have gone."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would recommend trusting more in the professionals they hired and not be the bottleneck in decision making. I would also recommend taking a little more time and gathering more information before making quick and rash decisions."

Web Developer

"Seems great and can be, but be aware..."

What do you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"I really liked the people I worked with and my development manager. It was pretty fun most of the time I was there. They spare no expense with technology (as an internet company should) and they know more than most executives do about development. They have a lot of talent managing and guiding development (Mark H. and Ben R.). Very high performance shop and challenging work. Great benefits and compensation."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be yourself and know your stuff. These guys are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to knowing about development. They are a high production, high stress shop and they will ask a lot of you. When telling them what you would like to make, present them with something that takes into account it will be 50-60 hours a week and high stress. Something on the higher end of the spectrum for sure."

What don't you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"The upper management/owners are very demanding. I didn't mind it as much because I enjoyed the challenge. The culture of the company has gone through some negative changes that have made it less enjoyable. There is a high turnover rate of employees and if you aren't a favorite of the owners, you are very disposable. Things are over-regulated (like punching in and out as salaried employee). The culture is just very conflicted. There is tension in the air a lot of the time. Some business practices are on the shady end of things."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Show your employees that they are valuable not necessarily with money but with respect. Try to realize that the employees you are dealing with are, in effect, running your company. Keep the important aspects of the corporate culture, but keep the small-company feel where people have relationships with everyone in the company."

Online Marketing Manager

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Improve communication between departments"

Web Developer

"Co-workers and manager are great. Higher ups, not so much."

What do you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"The programmers that I work with are awesome. My technical lead / manager Adam is the best manager I could ever hope for."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you fit in and have a people-person personality."

What don't you like about working at Bloosky Interactive?

"The higher-ups don't value me. They see me as a number and have no personal connection with me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Value your programmers for who they are and what they accomplish for the company."

Web Developer

"Dont trust them."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't do it unless you really need the money."
