What do you like about working at Bloomingdale's?

"The opportunity to share and utilize my experience and to open the first store in California. The energy of a new store opening is tremendous and exciting. Training, staff, supplies, merchandise assortments, etc. are the top level. They took the time to find the best of the best staff from senior management to the sales and support staff."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ensure that your presentation is appropriate for the job interview and be prepared by understanding their mission statement and merchandise and customer service goals."

What don't you like about working at Bloomingdale's?

"As it was the first store in California and with so many other retailers already here, expansion was very slow. The chance for growth was not promising."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It was a great place to work and they were open to all ideas."
