Principal Software Developer
in Boston, MA

"Description should tell you how company was good at the beginning because of people and how bad it became later when people changed. So, it's all about people that you work with."

What do you like about working at Bit9?

"I liked the initial team at the time I joined Bit9. There was clearly defined goal to achieve. Simple and straightforward discussions/cooperation with the team members. Fast development."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Not really. Go try and see, you might like it."

What don't you like about working at Bit9?

"After one year the entire team changed, including the management. From that moment on they didn't really have any milestones or ideas what to do next. You can't trust that new people you work with (to most of them, but NOT all!!!). Also, you have to watch your back, otherwise you will get stabbed in your back. Once you leave the company, there is a good chance that the rest of the team would say how useless you were while you were there, which is not very professional from my point of view."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Meetings that last for a few hours are pure waste of time and nothing more. Of course, without such meetings your don't need managers."
