"Do research before making changes, try beta tests before changing compensation tracking methodology. Respect your employees."

"It was very serious about the business of business. Information sharing was a key point of its success; number of meetings, although sometimes overwhelming, were always conducive to information based decision making."

"AT&T is in a very tight situation with its unions and its profit performance. Interview with a focus on how to build profits structures throughout. Creativity is of minor interest, although much needed at AT&T."

"It was weak in its projection of a major business entity outside of its narrow area of influence, thus became an easy target to AT&T, a tarnished brand with little to offer in terms management and creative leadership guided by a rational profit strategy."

"It does not exist, but it should have projected itself better nationally; showing its strength and value, while protecting one of its major brands (shared with SBC), Cingular. Based on going research at BellSouth, it was clear that Cingular and BellSouth were stronger brands than SBC and AT&T."
