"Get acquainted with the business problem of the day. The business is changing rapidly and hiring managers are looking for new and fresh approaches. Impress them with your knowledge and problem solving ability."

What don't you like about working at Bell Atlantic?

"I disliked the uncertainty associated with the direction of the telecom industry. Job security for employees was threatened long before the economic downturn and created an atmosphere of fear and discontent for the employee body I supported."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Communicate with the employee body often. Employee notifications should precede press releases for all matters."
