"My time at BDP has been an interesting one. Since being there, I have worked in 2 different subsidiaries and across 3 different departments. Doing this has provided me many great opportunities to grow as a professional and continuously learn. BDP was previously a privately held company, but they had recently been acquired by private equity. This came with some difficulties and much adjusting. The past year has come with many difficult changes which made some aspects of my responsibilities a bit difficult. Overall, I have worked with many great people and learned a lot at this company, which I am very grateful for."
"I have worked for BDP International for 2 years and the experience has been great. This is a company that values employees and has invested in infrastructure that makes it one of best in logistics industry."
"I worked at BDP a while back, so keep this in context, but I doubt things have changed. This is a dead-end job. The organization is flat. Even if you do make up to higher levels you will under paid relative to the industry. It is very hard to move up because of nepotism and cronyism. Even getting a raise is hard and inflation nullifies it. The company is stingy like Scrooge. The systems are arcane, so your skills will be out dated. The benefits are expensive. I wasn't impressed by the 401k offerings, so I didn't participate. I think there was only 1% match when I was there."
"I have worked for BDP for 3 years. My experience has been up and down as I greatly enjoy the work that I do but the opportunity for advancement is limited."
