"I liked my team members. I had a really great group to work with, and we pretty much backed each other up. We cared about the quality of our work as individuals and as a team."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you have a document outlining your job title and the title's ability to work from home. Get a signing bonus, because the annual bonuses are disappearing."

What don't you like about working at Blue Cross Blue Shield?

"I disliked management. Politics went as far as hurting the company to spite others or throw weight around, instead of listening to those in the trenches. There is declining work-life balance. The company preaches the importance of work-life balance, but they don't stand behind what they promote."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Increase the work-life balance aspect of the job. People will work harder and be happier working if they can be flexible with their time. Late arrivals, early departures, and working from home are VERY important."
