"FIELD TECHNICIANS BEWARE!! I was sent on a work order contract which would pay $45 per hour for 6 hours. I was required to hire a helper. The helper would also be working for 6 hours at $45 per hour. We arrived at the work location, driving for 3 and a half hours. Travel time not paid. The office building was vacant. After phone calls here and there we learned the work was completed some days earlier. Barristers scheduling error. THEIR MISTAKE. I upheld my end of the contract. So, it cost me $75 for fuel. I had to pay my helper $200 for the day. Now I'm in it for $275. The Barrister Company is paying me $92.25 and paying my helper $25. $150 loss. I was supposed to be paid $270 for each contract, totaling $540 for the day. The Barrister Global Services Co. will not respond to my pay dispute inquiries. I will revise this posting if I get paid for the day."
"Good company for side work."
"I worked as a field technician for several years. A dispute that involved return of core items led to me seeking other employment. There seemed no means to advance beyond the job I performed, which ultimately lead to my departure."
"I've been with Barrister since 2009 and from what I could tell you is: 1) the company used to be responsible, and 2) the pay was much better then now. Right now the company has become sloppy with their contracts, the personal in the shipping department keeps messing up the orders, overall customer satisfaction has shot down to the ground, and the worst of it is the HP affiliates. HP simply has the worst track record for both the customer and the on sit tech. I've been ripped off by HP multiple times!"
