What do you like about working at Bank of Travelers Rest?
"Normal duties for this position include: keeping a cash drawer and vault drawer that at times could exceed $40,000.00 while balancing that drawer at the end of the day. Maintaining account information and customers privacy while keeping a watchful eye out for fraudulent transactions. Double checking all account transactions by toggling between two bank databases and being constantly aware of any emails sent warning of possible problems between branches. Scanning and processing checks while trouble shooting with scanners and computer software . Making sure transactions are sent to the correct bank routing numbers, account numbers, and loan numbers. Answering customer questions concerning all aspects of banking such as balancing account information, interest rates, certificate maturity dates and interest, also generalized comparisons concerning different types of bank accounts while taking into consideration the amount of money invested, how readily the money needs to be available to the customer, and the type of business conducted between the customer and the bank. Tracking customers and businesses' deposits and withdrawals that reach a certain limit in accordance with the IRS standards and obtaining the necessary information needed for government tracking."
