"preserverance - the vision is there, don't be tempted to be drawn into the collusion of a start-up ambiguous energy, keep focus and follow the vision, success will come."

What don't you like about working at Backbase?

"being a start-up it was not at a professional level that would bring it the business growth it needed to make at the stage I entered the company. So I became the change culture manager to the C-level and Executive level management, I hired an exernal coach and coaching team and planed and managed a cultural change process for the company."

What do you like about working at Backbase?

"prestigious client list, high profile projects, Backbase Portal Server is a unique product for which there is a growing demand."

What don't you like about working at Backbase?

"I was not made aware of the reputation for Bully Culture that is prevalent throughout 75% of the Management team, until after I joined. Upon joining HR informed me of this and told me that due to this and their reputation it makes it hard to find new employees. However, I am still happy there and I do believe it is possible for this to improve."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They have grown from a small start up, and have promoted people to high level management positions who may have excellent technical skills, but their management skills are appalling. These people should not be in positions to manage people if they are not willing to work on their management skills."
