"I enjoyed my time at Axcelis Technologies. Axcelis has an excellent combination of individual challenge, team collaboration, in relaxing professional supportive atmosphere and access to resources. I had the opportunity to work in projects in and with other departments. Furthermore their employee training is superior to most other industries, both in quality and dedication."

"Glovia, it was to compartmentalize, hopefully they updated the GUI."

"Axcelis Technologies is a great place to work with when you just graduate from college nor pass the entry level of Engineer or different background. The people who work at Axcelis are nice and friendly. I have some mentors there and they were grateful enough to train me until I fully know the system. Also I love the traveling. You get a chance to see the whole world, and the best part is it is under company' expense."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Axcelis Technologies was my first professional job right after college. Of all the Engineer Position I've interviewed for after I decide to pursue with different field. I find Axcelis interview was hard. They would literally make you take a test to see if you know your basic electronic components like all the GATES (AND, OR, XOR, NAND). So you better come prepare. Another thing, they also look at your skill of troubleshooting because the keyword for final test is 'Troubleshooting'."

What don't you like about working at Axcelis Technologies?

"There were so many Final Test Engineers, and that the reason why it is hard to grow in that company. The things you do for the company did not get recognize and they supervisor or the manager overlooked your performance. When semiconductor industries were continueing to peak out, they surely send majority of the Final Test Engineers out to the field. But when things are a little bit slower, there are competition between engineers so that they would be pick to be send out to the field."

"The company once was at the forefront of technology in its field but since the tuen of the century has fallen short of its foresight."

"The only reason I had the freedom was because there was nothing to do. I bounced around departments until they eventually put me on TLO and then laid me off. With proper upper management this could be a viable company but not at the moment. stay away."

"Out of touch management. Extremely high management to non-management ratio."

"Bring management down to reasonable levels. Listen to your customers. Stop redesigning things if you're not going to add any benefit to existing designs."
