"I liked having the chance to work with the latest weather technologies and software. It was one of my best chances to also work at the Weather Alert desk, which helped me advance my career."

"Be ready to work from Day 1. Dress professionally, because company clients tend to drop by the office. If possible, have a plan for affordable living near the office, unless you are working remotely. Show how your skills can help their business grow."

"The rotating shifts required, made it difficult to balance work and life needs. The salary offered didn't cover living expenses if one lived nearby their HQ."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest they do a cost-benefit analysis with their employees and contractors to make sure that working there doesn't hurt their workers financially, and to try to keep their people on a set schedule, so that the balance between work and life needs can be achieved."
