"The Company was going through an acquisition. Financial strength was a detriment and was the cause for the cuts."

"Management needs to review the reports of what true opportunities are getting ready to close. This helps with forecasting and planning."

"Don't believe a thing they will cut you out of your job the second things go bad."

What don't you like about working at Avnet?

"Corp. hierarchy doesn't care about the employees at the first sign of trouble they cut 100's of employees. That changes peoples lives but they still can earn huge salaries and don't care about the people at all."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop professing CORE VALUES and not living up to them. One of them is INTEGRIY, they have non or loyalty to the people that give their time and heart to the company."
