"Thankful for the job but thoroughly disappointed by leadership there."
What do you like about working at Avalex Technologies?
"The pay is the only thing remotely attractive. Other than that it's an absolutely dreadful experience based in over-laiden schedules, ridiculous deadlines, and public attacks on you, your team and your coworkers by management."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you're interviewing with Avalex, don't.... Just run, it's a waste of time and you will find your experience thoroughly disappointing. Promises of promotions, opportunity, and role-expansion are all false-- and made just to get you in the door and working what will no doubt amount to be countless - salary - based hours of overtime with no thanks, appreciation, or commendation. You get nothing more than a paycheck and some medical benefits, no reward of a job well done since most projects end in disaster or derailment."
What don't you like about working at Avalex Technologies?
"The gossip, the big talk-little action management, and lack of a clear/defined path in the organization. There is no plan, and it's pretty much 'every man for himself'."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Start trusting your leaders. Treat your employees with respect, especially when they sacrifice personally for the company. Try to better yourself as a leader instead of belittling and attacking your employees when projects aren't to your level of satisfaction. Learn how to motivate through inspiring your team instead of through fear and terroristic tactics."
