"Yes, when you observe your programs being used by people to make their work easier, it's fulfilling. I enjoy creating software that is the best it can possibly be by using industry standard algorithms modified for the present task as opposed to home-made algorithms that can produce intermittent results. I dislike it when I get a unit to test that does not perform as well as it should due to sloppy work or short, unrealistic schedules."
