"I have worked for Autoliv for over 23 years and have been a Proven Leader at getting things done, give me a task and I will complete it, I am a team player with great ideas for improving processes and Margins."
"I’ve worked at Autoliv for 4 years. The co-worker culture is amazing, especially in the Launch and Machine Build departments. The wage rates and schedule for raises is incredibly antiquated and the HR department has a very poor record when it comes to retaining good talent. The work is ennobling, knowing that I help save lives. This mission statement and the coworkers are why I’ve stayed despite sub-par pay and benefits."
"Company culture has changed over the years. Corporate demands on improved EBITDA and workforce reductions have led to a mass exodus of large numbers of highly-skilled and devoted employees. Local mgmt is completely disengaged, they are simply treading water until told what to do by Corporate and the far-too-powerful HR group. The prevailing opinion is that, in the past, promotions have been based upon tenure. Autoliv is still a good company to work for. The pay is in the middle of the road but the time-off is better than most and the insurance is very affordable and broad-covering; perks that people care about, not ping-pong tables and video game rooms. Just keep your mouth shut and put on a happy face at all times."
"I spent nine wonderful months with Autoliv as a Mechanical Designer. The people there are wonderful and so kind and easy to work with. Unfortunately, the company had a massive layoff due to the economic downturn. If Autoliv was to open the position again and offer my position back to me I would take it with no hesitation. They have amazing benefits and lots of opportunity to advance. Thank you Autoliv for the opportunity."
"I enjoy working for Autoliv and the automation industry. I am allowed to bring machine creation from conception to customer buyoff. This is a fast paced position which keeps my skills at their best. The understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and control technology is key in the work I perform here."
