"My first boss was completely uninvolved with his subordinates and spent no time with them as a VP he was doing engineering work. Nice person competent engineering not a good manager. My second boss was exactly the opposite."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Spend time with your subordinates and determine what their issues are and clear obstacles."
