"While they prided themselves as keeping it lean as far as staffing, they went through quite a few hiring and firing spurts. I've found that for every person let go, you spend about half their salary in training (quite a loss of profit)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"keep staffing stable, communicate what is going on, company forcasts. People want to be a part of the big picture"
