"Loved the diverse customers in Carbondale (college town) and being able to help them with their dream of owning a home."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Look at company realistically - they are now just a branch in a large corporation instead of the 125 year Carbondale locally owned First National Bank and Trust (as when I started with this company)"
What don't you like about working at Old National Bank?
"Company expected 60-80 hours per week including Saturday and Sunday. Was not family oriented at all - planned required family oriented activites on weekends that were employee only and manditory to attend (for example SIU tailgates several times during football season)"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Value your employees - turnover rate for tellers was horrible at this bank."

"Since this was a temporary position, I did not qualify for the bank perks."

"The professionalism of the employees. Working in a financial environment."

"Not really. I did not interview prior to taking on the assignment. I just began there the next workday."

"I enjoyed my stay. Wish it could have been a longer term contract."

"Was hired at a time when the bank was looking to make layoffs. Not family friendly."
What do you like about working at Allegiance Bank?
"I enjoyed interaction with my customers and employees in my branch."
What don't you like about working at Allegiance Bank?
"The bank was too small to handle requests from my existing customers. I lost many deals because the bank would not provide competitive pricing and fees. And many of customers required larger loans than the bank was willing to finance."

"Improve communication with employees."

"Great Management and great environment to work for. Provide constant training to enhance our knowledge of the product. People are great."

"When upper management was change when it was sold to Bank of America. Previous upper management grew within the company."

"They should not have sold the company."
