"I was friends with the owners before they opened the company, and they asked me to open the brewery with them as their first employee. Of course, I said yes, it was a tremendous opportunity to work with my friends at a business I cared about. Opening the brewery was a fantastic experience, Brewing beer is a passion, and bartending came naturally to me. Once pandemic lockdowns began, the business faltered, however, and they could no longer afford to pay me."
