"For me it was a learning environment. It was my first professional experience and I learned a great deal about being a software engineer. I especially liked the talks that were given on different topics. It was a chance to learn about other projects that were being worked on at Argonne."

What don't you like about working at Argonne National Laboratory?

"Since Argonne is a scientific lab, there were few opportunities for me as a software engineer."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Develop more opportunities for young engineers. Allow them to develop their abilities on projects. See these engineers as a resource that can be used on one project and then move to another project."
