"I enjoyed the interaction with the customers and working with the animals. I enjoyed helping customers get started with the exciting world of pet ownership."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be forthright and honest about what you expect from the company, and be a hard worker."

What don't you like about working at PETCO?

"I did not enjoy that the corporate office would not allow each store to have any say in what was being kept or replaced, as far as merchandise was concerned. Something that does not sell well in one store may sell very well in another area."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management needs to convey to the corporate offices that there are some needs for the community that new changes will not meet."
