"I enjoyed the work I was doing. While, most of the other interns did the bare minimum of 20hrs per week , I worked on average 30 or more hours each week for $125 bi-weekly because I liked the technology of aptamers and the SELEX process. Unfortunately, at times I felt my enthusiasm was not appreciated. After a while the internship felt more like a fraternity than an opportunity and I began losing interest. There could have been more instruction on equipment like HPLC also."
