"Company was EZ-Data, merged by EBIX at Oct, 2009. The new management is rude, it's all about cost cutting."
What do you like about working at Direct Energy?
"I initially worked for a company named Strategic Energy. When Direct Energy bought them over - I was retained to lead various development efforts as part of the merger. I loved the challenge of finding the best of breed from two disparate set of systems and creating additional solutions where needed to bridge the gaps."

"They will not be hiring permanent workers in the foreseeable future."
What don't you like about working at Blue Cross Blue Shield?
"Due to declining enrollment, IBC is looking to merge or be acquired by another company. They are not hiring at this time and will be laying off employees over the next year and a half."

"Merging or being acquired is the correct decision."
