"I worked at Appareo Systems for 4.5 years. Three of those years were as an intern. I had lots of freedom and the culture of the company allowed me to discover and learn things fast as they encourage risk taking and tolerated failure. I worked within the Test Team which felt like a family to me. We fed off each other ideas and supported each other. It was an incredible experience to work along side of some amazing engineers and personal. Up until the last couple months they were going through layoffs and my team cut down from around 20 people to just 4. This was a surprise to all of us and was disappointing that we would no longer get to work together again as a team. Overall, I miss working at Appareo as the engineers that I worked with made it such a fun and encouraging environment."

"I've worked at Appareo Systems for a little longer than a year and a half. I began as an intern in the summer of 2018 and transferred to full to time in January of 2019. I absolutely loved the culture and I loved the projects and people I were working with. Unfortunately on February 28th, 2020 the company needed to reduce its workforce due to market pressures. My positions were one of those cut. Past the initial shock I am thankful for my time there and I look forward to using my experiences there as well as my past experiences with Bobcat to my highest potential."

"The challenges, the work, and the potential for growth. I learned a lot in my time there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask lots of questions about the environment, tasks, and hours so you know what to expect. Things change quickly in small companies (though it has grown since I was last there)."

What don't you like about working at Appareo Systems?

"That being I was initial hired as part time (almost immediately became full time) I was not valued with respect to what I was asked to, and did do."

"I'm not sure, my experience was not typical of what I gather from my friends their."
