"Ask about growth opportunities, new product development plans and what partners (Developmental Customers). Who they see themselves aligned with in the near future and what expansion plans do they have in the near future."

What don't you like about working at American Power Conversion ?

"Sometimes the timing that it took to develop and launch new products and complete the processes needed to set up a new customer and a proprietary product."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Expand product offerings and do not limit themselves in only the select few channels they serve. Be great in all areas of their business."

"They are very sale oriented company. It's a great place to work for if you are in Sales."

"Ever since APC was bought it is becoming tough place to work if you want to balance personal life and work life."

"Empower management and employees to make decisions based on an approval authority matrix or document."

"I enjoyed the position. I was on the road and living out of suitcase. It was a home office job. I wanted to settle in Massachusetts and Monster offered me a position. It was an opportunity to be less on the road."

"I was living out of a suitcase. I wanted to build some friendships and settle in Massachusetts."

"Improve employee compensation package and have a good employee growth advancement and career improvement plan."

"Count your fingers after you shake hands. Pay's good if you produce; don't believe much of what they tell you about being a team member, career path, etc. You're an enlisted man/woman and are treated strictly at arm's length."

What don't you like about working at American Power Conversion ?

"Most everything ... late to market on new products. A lot of former Navy; you are treated like enlisted men, not equals or collaborators."

"Drop dead (I was laid-off after 5 year over-quota performance and strong annual revenues ... then again, I was an enlisted man.)"

"Chaotic since the merger with Schiender Electric"
