"AngelVision was a great place to experiment with narrative and motion graphics in Flash."
What do you like about working at AngelVision Technologies?
"AngelVision allowed Flash developers to oversee projects from start to finish. I would create a design, generate graphic assets, animate all materials, edit and deliver final product. This gave an unprecedented amount of creative control in projects, and ensured that client needs were personally addressed at every stage of production. It also allowed me to enhance (exponentially) my skills in PhotoShop, Illustrator, and of course Flash."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"AngelVision offers a modest compensation for a large amount of work. You will be encouraged to take as many projects as possible under tight deadlines. You must show willingness to experiment and satisfy clients in a timely manner to work here."
What don't you like about working at AngelVision Technologies?
"AngelVision operates an outdated production method, generating wasteful hours of production. Deliverables at various production stages (design, animated comps, rough edits) were untimely, resulting in unnecessary revisions. The process could be more streamlined to take advantage of new workflows (especially with integrated Adobe products). Basically, AngelVision is stuck in 2001."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Encourage developer feedback in the production model. Revise workflow to take advantage of developers strengths. Act more like an agencyseparate production tasks into design, animation, development, and programming."
