I like seeing the smiles on people's faces during our events, or the thank you from business owners who appreciate the work of our Maintenance / Security Ambassadors. I like working with the public and policymakers in addressing the issues our community faces."

"There is a reason why many of the employees have been here for 4-5-6-7 years: the camaraderie of this team and the shared vision for downtown. Understand the vision and fit in with the team, and this is a golden job."

What don't you like about working at Anchorage Downtown Partnership?

"Often, we feel like we could accomplish much more if we had the resources: additional people, additional tools, additional finances, etc."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't be afraid to trust in your team, let us fall down from time to time and learn how to avoid those mistakes again in the future. Don't take on so much work by yourself, we're all part of the same team here and can all pitch in."
