"I worked at AmTrust prior to the separation of Amynta, and after that separation is where the problems really started. Even as Amynta began acquiring other companies, massive layoffs and poor communication from upper management created a culture of fear, and despite numerous assurances to the contrary I was among them. My immediate coworkers and supervisor were great, but being laid off with the only prior feedback from higher in the company being "the project is very important, and currently meeting expectations for speed and quality of development" indicates either dishonesty or incompetence."
