"AMNS is a great company to work for. They give back in the form of profit sharing. The environment is one that promotes creativity. My only reason for job hunting is the pressure of the current steel market. With steel as low as it is, I can only assume that there will soon be a layoff."

"The commute is very long. And they are currently mandating a culture. Promoting a positive culture is great but if abused then the culture of the company will quickly resemble a cult. Managers will use the culture to demand employees to follow their orders without any opinion or comment from the subordinate. Currently unqualified managers have been promoted to their position via nepotism. The teams they lead thus can no longer develop professionally in his or her field."
