Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I had probably the most obnoxious and aggressive individual to interview with. Only agreed to me being hired after I proved that he had no idea how to draw a valve symbol that was real. I also answered another Technicians answers on how to wire safety switches when he asked another individual I was touring with. They value competency, but lack it in some cases themselves.The new maintenance manager is better."

What don't you like about working at Ames True Temper?

"Inconsistency with training, only a managers friends would get training first. If they backed out on cost everyone else was out of luck."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better business outlook. Don't cheap out on training when you get the bill for the first group and not send the other people that need it."
