"Awesome company with great co-workers and management."

"We had a great team in a company that was dynamic. Sadly, it ended with a downward spiral into economic disaster that negatively impacted the world's economies. The company declared bankruptcy and was bought out by Citibank."

"In the beginning, working for AMC was great. I was able to do my job creating the QC program for the customer service division with little supervision."

"Towards the end of AMC's existance, the wrong doings of the company caused a lot of misguided finger pointing and witchhunts."

"I was a novice in the field, and they really helped me learn and navigate all the changes of the industry."

"It's no longer around- so can't give any tips. It will prove to be futile."

What don't you like about working at Ameriquest?

"The only problem was that, their lending practice was in constant scrutiny. I did not like all the negative media attention."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I were allowed to speak my mind - I would tell management to practice more ethical procedures when conducting business- I don't have the luxury to tell them, since they were included on the list of lenders to implode. They were a sub-prime investor, and they collapsed."

"The HR/Recruiting Department was a very hard working team. We worked well together and learned from eachother. It was a very fast paced and enjoyable environment."

"I didn't have any complaints about working for this company, however, I can say I am disappointed that the company is no longer in business and therefore I was laid off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management refused me a quarterly bonus one term because my hiring ratio was 1 out 3. The goal to receive bonus was a hiring ratio of 1 out of 4. My hiring ratio was a better score but because it wasn't 1 out of 4, I was denied the bonus. I was disappointed that I exceed the goal set forth and management penalized me."
