"I have worked at American Rentals, Inc. since October 2016. I started as account payables working part-time (24hrs). My supervisor at that time left her Accounting Administrator position in 2018. When this happened, owner hired a Bookkeeper, but she didn't work out. The rest of the staff recommended me for the position and I was promoted to Accounting Administrator. I learned the duties and responsibilities and I became a valuable asset to the company. However, in 2019, I was offered the opportunity to start a brand new business and I was offered more pay. I left American Rentals in May 2019. Owner of American Rentals persuaded me to consider returning to American Rentals, and with a good offer, I returned in May 2020. Today, this company is about to open a 4th and 5th locations and I am happy to witness this. Sadly, my workload is increasing 40%, but my pay is not increasing at all. During my tenure (before and after), I have re-structured the accounting department with the addition of Receivables, which the company has never had. I've trained the specialist and I continue to handle the most complex and difficult accounts. I've also implemented new payroll system and a time keeping system for accurately recording and payroll processing."
