What do you like about working at American Messaging?

"It was a job is about the best thing I can say about working at American Messaging Services."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Keep your options open. Bare in mind that they have laid off a majority of their work force since its inception. They have only recalled a few. Other benefits are minuscule compared to what other companies offer."

What don't you like about working at American Messaging?

"American Messaging was purchased from Verizon and coming from a large company that had more resources to a company that had high hopes and little resources was quite difficult. As a front line supervisor, we were expected to handle escalations, but one would not expect to deal with escalations stemming from the companies lack of paying vendors necessary to run a business. For example, bills were paid based on if they were a priority and not because they were due. As new employees to AMS, we began sceptical and were made many promises that NEVER materialized so the relationship began with a series of lies and never got better."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be honest with your employees and treat them as you would like to be treated. There should never be an air of superiority amongst the ranks. If you promise something, deliver on that promise. Happy employees make for happy customers and happy stock holders."
