"Small private company, 450-500 people, and a nice place to work"

What do you like about working at American Megatrends?

"I enjoyed working with the people there, learning some new things about USB and BIOS's, and also interacting with so many people from a different culture to mine, since most of the employees were from India, although my supervisor was one of the few Americans to work there, and also very helpful in explaining new things when necessary."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"This was a very fair place to work--if you are qualified and present yourself honestly in your interview, you will have no problem."

What don't you like about working at American Megatrends?

"I think the only things I did not like, was that the company bathrooms did not have a shower, if you wanted to run during lunch. Also, since it was a private company, there was no way to invest in it yourself, but at this time I don't have much money for that anyway. Last thing that was slightly not as good as other places, is that you had to work there for 3 years before they would match contributions to the 401K plan, but these are minor things. It was a good experience overall."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If there were money for these things, I would suggest a company cafeteria to encourage socializing during lunch, or encourage people to go out to lunch together, so that you don't have to eat alone at your desk. I would also as I mentioned put showers in the bathroom, so that you can go running during lunch if you wanted."
