What do you like about working at American Cedar & Millwork?

"I really liked the opportunity to travel and meet with new people often (My sales area was from Philadelphia to Salisbury on the eastern side of the Chesapeake and Philadelphia to Washington, DC on the Western side of the bay). While with the company we also had a great product mix which made it very easy to sell."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"While Interviewing keep an open mind. This company does not function as most building material supply companies do. You will need to keep focus on the fact that their ways of doing business does work."

What don't you like about working at American Cedar & Millwork?

"Some of the salespeople I worked with were too closed minded to try new sales techniques as well as new products, thus hindering sales growth. My thoughts were that the company needed to be more diverse especially in a downturn market."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The building downturn will end soon. My suggestion would be make the company ready for the good days. Fortify the sales force with top flight sales people who are hungry to grow sales."
