"Check with the department employees (not management) that you'll be working in to see what advancement opportunities exist, as you'll probably be promised the world only to find there's little to nothing."

"Unreasonable expectations and deadlines, usually set by management picking an arbitrary number or date with no input or research. Support and resources are not supplied in order to meet the expectations made. More and more work is expected from employees with no compensation in pay or aid with needed staff or other resources."

"Take employee feedback more seriously, do whatever it took to make things better for my department and employees so they can remain happy and productive. Ensure they have the resources they need to succeed."
